Erin's an interesting woman - she's the mother of four, has her PhD in something really smart (chemistry? overall braininess? something like that), and she's a talented photographer. So when she likes something, I tend to take a second look at whatever it is. Also? She is singlehandedly responsible for getting me through Trigonometry in high school (until I dropped it in favor of study hall, but that wasn't her fault).
I ordered a few bags from her earlier this summer and as soon as they arrived, I could feel myself falling hard. Here are the bags I bought from Erin:
The All-in-One-Organizer - discontinued but similar to the Keep It CaddyI keep the all-in-one organizer inside the retro metro purse- it folders up flat and is the perfect back to have on hand when I pick up a few things from the grocery store (the side pockets hold wine bottles!) or other small shopping trips. Above, it's holding all the ingredients I needed to make tacos + 2 bottles of wine! The Keep It Caddy is just a smidge larger than my bag.
I use the mini zippered pouch for two things: I attach a the wristlet strap when I just want to carry a small bag with essentials. Otherwise, I pack it full of daily on-the-go beauty essentials (lipstick, contact solution, face powder, etc) and stash it in my purse. Speaking of purses...
Love the retro metro purse! I usually carry a more structured purse because slouchy styles (in my experience) can turn into a bottomless pit in which I can carry a ton of stuff...but can never, ever find what I need at the bottom of it. That's not the case with the retro metro. There's something about the proportions of this bag that make it roomy but not too deep and narrow. In addition to deep pockets on either side (perfect for my travel coffee mug and a rolled up magazine) there are two cell-phone sized pockets inside, plus a zipper pocket. I also like that I can clip my keys to a little ring that's on the inside of the bag. Easy to find!
After the initial purchase, I was hooked and ordered the makeup bag duo and the Suite Cross 'N Fold purse. I haven't yet monogrammed anything on to my purchases, but I think I will the next time I order something.
There's so much space in the larger makeup bag - and it's fully lined. Love that!
The Suite Cross N Fold comes with two straps - a regular one + a removable long one.
