Not bad...just not me.
This pair of jeans is from Avenue. I topped them with a tee shirt from Old Navy, a cardigan (with girly puffed sleeves) from Talbots, and a yellow scarf from Old Navy.
These earrings were a Christmas gift from Most Ridic, from Patina here in St. Paul.
I'm getting to the point in my life where experimentation is less exciting...and spending a whole day feeling unlike 'me' just isn't any fun. How to find the balance between keeping my style from feeling stagnant and just not being myself...that's the question!
What's part of your everyday wardrobe?
Honestly - that outfit looks amazing on you! The yellow completely finishes it off. You look comfortable but pulled together at the same time. LOVE IT.
ReplyDeleteThanks, CJ! I'm happy to hear that I looked more comfortable than I felt. ;)
DeleteI wouldn't change a thing about this outfit. I think you look great!
ReplyDeleteThank you- I appreciate that!
DeleteI also have a really hard time finding good jeans. This fall I had good luck at Old Navy, simply because they have a variety of washes and lengths. (of course this weekend when I tried to older a lighter wash they were out of my size!)
ReplyDeleteI love spring/summer/fall when i can wear dresses! However once its winter I tend to go for leggings and tunics or long sweaters.
I wore leggings and tunics a ton last winter but for some reason never pulled them out this year... maybe they'll become part of my spring wardrobe!
DeleteThe outfit looks really nice! I, too, feel the same way about jeans/pants and wear a lot of skirts.Somehow I just more comfortable in them. :)
ReplyDeleteIs it a physical- comfort thing or a style- comfort thing for you? I think it's a combination of both for me...
DeleteI totally agree you have to feel comfortable in what you where but that aside it's an adorable outfit (and very much my style). :)
ReplyDeleteWell, then you have great style! ;)
DeleteFor me it is both a style and physical comfortableness (is that a word? lol) When I go out, I nearly always choose a skirt, just feel more like me in one. :)
ReplyDeleteFor the purposes of this blog, it's officially a word ;)
