The dress is so cute, in theory. It's poorly made (the seams don't line up, etc) but I do really like the style. It's a little bit Kate Spade-inspired. With that in mind, I decided to do Kate proud and add the (somewhat over-the-top-for-work) pink tulle flower. I kinda love this.
The Outfit:Pink flower pin - Lily Star

so, they took a half-year to honor a giveaway, and the quality is substandard?
ReplyDeletenot good for Shabby Apple, but good for you - you look absolutely adorable!
Dress does look wicked cute on you, though, Sara. The pink flower does add a special something to the ensemble.
You look adorable!! I'm sorry to hear that the quality is lacking but I hope you at least get a few wears out of it because it looks amazing on you!
ReplyDeleteshame -- this is the first truly negative review i have heard of Shabby Apple -- both of the quality of the products and the quality of their customer service.
ReplyDeletebut as the other ladies have said, the dress does look adorable on you.
:)
OMG, I love this dress! You DO look adorable Sara! The flower and belt just top it off! Wow!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with the ladies who commented before me. This dress looks really nice on you! It's actually very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWow! You look adorable and that look is SOOO flattering!! I hope you wear the $h%t out of that dress! :)
ReplyDeleteSooo Kate-Spadeish! Especially with the flower. Excellent styling choice. (I'm a big Spade fan - the only 'designer' stuff I'd actually purchase, if it fit!)
ReplyDeleteBummer about the construction, though... I'll think twice before I order from them.
