Everyday Bombshell

I tried on three different pair of shoes before on settling on my black slingback heels. I'm not a "shoe" person, so I sometimes forget that shoes really can make or break an outfit.



On the other hand, I had no trouble choosing my jewelry. I went for two pieces that have been in my family forever. The turtle compass necklace (it opens up to reveal an actual compass!) belonged to Great Grandma Midge, and the sapphire earrings were Grandma Kappy's.

  3. Very cute little turtle! That's my newest obsession of late - vintage jewelry... I'm running up quite the tab on EBay! I love how you added a belt over the outer vest. That's the kind of thing I never think to do! Fabulous!
