Shhh...Product Launch Party

This past Friday marked the official launch of Shhh. a three-in-one beauty bar that can be used to shampoo, shower and shave. The product was developed by Becky Sturm, one of the Twin Cities' premiere experts in natural beauty. Shhh. is free of synthetics, preservatives, artificial fragrance and coloring. All packaging is 100% compostable and recyclable; and end-to-end, this product and its packaging are committed to sustainability.

I've sampled the product and my initial reaction is that it's a winner on several levels. I haven't used it long enough to be able to provide a full review but I will say that both Dan and I are liking it.

What's a product launch without a party, of course? Dan and I headed over to the Speakeasy, at the Eagle Street Grill. We had a great time mixing and mingling, supporting Becky and her new product. Here are a few pictures from the night.

I dressed up my nautical striped Gap dress with a denim Liz Claiborne blazer (love the reverse pink striped cuffs!). I decided to pull out the pink that's on those cuffs with a fuschia layered necklace and blush colored flats. My green Franco Sarto purse was a great contrast to the blue and pink.

Dan went with a pair of black Gap jeans, a graphic tee, gray blazer, and double-faced green Converse high tops.

Sheila Fredriksen, creator of the all-natural skincare line Nontoxique, turned out to show her support for Becky. Sheila gave me the scoop that some very exciting things are on the horizon for her company. The Nontoxique Age Reversal Serum is one of my all-time favorite products for keeping hands moisturized and youthful, so I couldn't be happier for her!

With the woman of the hour, herself. Becky is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen... and she practically radiated on Friday night.

The web site of Shhh.is live right now, and you can pre-order the three way bar. Orders will start shipping on April 18th. There may be a special Bombshell Beauty give-away of Shhh.in the coming weeks...Isn't beauty fun?

  10. Rebecca, it is awesome for travel and one of the reasons it was designed. No worries about oz size of bottle or leaky bottles for that matter.

A wooden travel case is in the works!
