Spotlight on - lovedrobe

I was recently made aware of a UK-based plus size clothing brand called lovedrobe. According to the brand, their mission is to create on-trend clothes with great fit, finish and quality. Their design team is tapped into what's going on in both street style and on the fashion scene, so they can design clothes that incorporate both into a range of plus sizes spanning from 16-32.

Although lovedrobe is looking to join forces with a US retailer soon, they're currently available through their online store as well as UK retailers Evans and Style369.com.

The lovedrobe collection that I've seen online looks really fun - a combination of on-trend patterns worked into figure flattering tunics and dresses; boyfriend-inspired cardigans & button-down shirts. Most everything has a little extra feminine detail, like lace panels on the back of the cardigans or well-placed ruffles on a body concious tunic.

How cute is that crochet trim dress? It's so kicky and fun. The brand wants me to be able to give you a first-hand account of my experience with their clothes, and will be sending me something form the line to try out. So I'll be able to tell you more about the fit and quality in a few weeks. But until then...I'm going to be thinking about that crochet dress!

  1. Do at least get the option to choose what you try out? How fun!

  2. Wendy, the company asked me to point out styles that I like to help them decide what to send me. That's kind of fun, though, having someone else pick clothes out. I tend to choose the same things over and over!

  3. I hope they send the last dress pictured. The minute I saw it I knew it was YOU! LUTP
