Bold Beautiful Curvy Fashion Show

Last night, my friend Stephanie and I attended a fun event here in Minneapolis. It was the Bold Beautiful Curvy plus size fashion show. The show featured a mix of clothing, ranging from wedding dresses and a couple formal options from Saks Off 5th & Second Debut; very cool dresses and separates from ArielSimone; and swimsuits fromNani Nalu. Yep - the gorgeous plus size models strutted their stuff in swimsuits. And let me tell you: these ladies were working it. The crowd was enthusiastic, in large part because the models looked like they were having such a good time.

  9. I'm sorry to say that I'm not sure who makes the gorgeous maxi dress. The event host didn't do a good job of announcing designers, etc. I believe it came from Saks off 5th...?

  11. I had to honor of modeling for this show. It was a blast and everybody involved was a dream to work with!
The long black dress with the colorful swirls and thick belt is from Ariel Simone..I didn't want to take it off! The corset of the wedding dress was amazing it shaped me in ways I couldn't imagine. I also wore the green one piece from Lenny of Brazil which can be purchased at Nani Nalu, that suit hid so many imperfections and shaped my mid section into beautiful curves..loved it!

  13. OMG. That looks like so much fun. I adore some of the looks. Gonna do a little digging to see what I can find.

And, why don't we have anything like this in Dallas? I swear, I know it's the land of the plastic Barbie look alikes, but it's also a huge city. We should have stuff like this. sigh.
