Ain't Misbehavin' (For Once)

It's been a long time since I've worn my hair in its natural state. Mostly because its natural state can be maddeningly unpredictable. But here it is, on its best behavior.


The Outfit:
Black long sleeved tee- Old Navy
Purple dot dress - Old Navy
Studded flats- Payless
Mixed metal necklace- gifted from Lane Bryant
Curly hair - rare, perfect combination of Paul Mitchell Skinny Balm and a diffuser

  1. I've owned that dress from old navy since it came out. I had worn it twice since I bought it. And while I love the fit and the cut, the color just wasn't working for my skin tone. So, I dumped it into a vat of black RIT dye. Turned into a lovely, albiet unintentional, shade of dark plum. The thread on the hem and the zipper (obviously) stayed the original pinky-purple. Now, I wear it all the time!

  6. Very pretty! I never seem to be able to pull off a long sleeve T under a dress. I know it's basic fashion for some but I'm still learning.......
