Debuting My New Booties

Look guys, new shoes!



I've been on the lookout for a pair of booties since last Fall. And I finally found a pair that's the exact style I was looking for (suede with a fold-over cuff at the ankle), a heel height that allows me to actual walk rather than limp through the day (2.25 inches high) and fits my boat-sized feet. Hurrah!

I've worn this outfit before, but always with a pair of ballet flats. It's amazing what a completely different vibe these booties give the look. I feel, dare I say, edgy. And cool. Which I am, in reality, neither.

The clothes:
Black open cardigan- Lane Bryant
Turquoise 'Carly' top - gift from Sealed with a Kiss Designs
Gray denim mini skirt- Gap
Black ruched leggings - Lane Bryant
Faux suede booties - Payless
Gunmetal earrings - Lia Sophia

  1. I'm really not too big on the leggings trend but seeing this kind of combination makes me so much more inclined to give it a whirl. So cute! Also those booties are pretty awesome, just a touch rockstar.

  5. What a cute outfit! The leggings really work well! I love the booties too! The pair I have have a 2-inch heel. I know what you mean about going from flats to heels with some outfits. The other day I wore pumps with an outfit I always wore flats with and they really looked great and made me feel like a totally different girl. :)
