Fabulous Find

I know the term "Must Have" has become so overused as to almost become devoid of meaning, but trust me when I say that I don't use the words lightly. This jacket from Liz Claiborne's Elisabeth line is absolutely amazing.

It's a crepe swing jacket, made of silk and cotton shot through with subtle metallic thread. The drape is extremely modern (in that 1960's retro kind of way) and extremely flattering to a curvy figure. The oval neckline shows enough skin to really draw all of the focus right where it should be - on your pretty face. The coat swings away from the body, which is a fantastic feature for warm weather outtings - sometimes you need a jacket to toss on over a tank and jeans or a strapless dress, but don't want to add another layer of fabric to cling to your body. There's no clinging here.

This jacket will wear well into the fall and winter, too. Throw it on over a turtleneck or a thin sweater. It's elegantly sweet. Or is it sweetly elegant? It's both! And for $199, it's a worthy splurge, considering the mileage you can expect from this jacket.
